Get Rescued In Gulfport is a very successful yearly event for animal rescues, namely independant dog rescues. 15000 visitors attended last year. All the proceed benefit the rescues. This year it will be Saturday February 26th
The event is free with music on 2 stages, vendors, many many dog treats and adorable pooches available for adoption. What we are going to do there? People for Ethical living will have its first public appearance. Hoping to create a grassroot activist organization of people who are tired of corporate rule and greed and sold out government policies, people who are angry about the treament of animals for food and profit, worried about the GMOs invading our food supply and an industrial agriculture without choices of healthy food and the list goes on.
At this event as in future events, People for Ethical living will have a tent and volunteers to help fill out petitions, and hand out litterature, flyer, brochures and information to create a public awareness. The time has come to be public .
